A minority of members cannot stall the process of redevelopment if the required percentage of consent has been obtained as per the relevant laws and regulations.

Floating of tender refers to the act of inviting bids or proposals from contractors or suppliers for a project or service. It involves formally announcing the opportunity and providing project details to potential bidders.

The actual carpet area refers to the usable floor area within a residential or commercial property. It represents the space that can be covered with a carpet and typically excludes common areas such as walls, balconies, corridors, staircases, and other non-occupiable spaces.

The new flat is usually allotted based on the carpet area of the existing flat, which is used as a basis for calculating the area of the new flat.
